Hello friends.  Thank you for your emails, and I am glad you are enjoying Turkey with me.  Melissa appears to be the only one who can post comments.  I am not sure why this is so, but thank you Melissa  (the tech guru).

Brenda, you always ask me about the food when I travel.  I don't think I have ever posted pics of food before and that is because it has never been anything to write home about.  Turkey is decidedly different.

As you can see I am not doing the typical historical sites of Turkey, and there are many great ones.  I will do so on a future trip, and yes there will be future trips.  This time I am so blessed to have Nihat, Sadiye, Sami, and Sermin showing me Turkish life, in which food plays a huge role.  I am delighted that Sami and Sermin are in Turkey while I am here because they travel around the world, usually take a trip about every two months!!!!!
