Saturday Sadiye and I went to her sister's village. It was bread making day. They also made what they call pied - a very thin party filled with a mixture of cheese, parsley, and nettles.
Everything was prepared on outdoor wood stoves, although you will also see that they have an indoor kitchen as well.
The smell of the wood smoke in the fresh, clean air was awesome.
They made about ten huge loaves of bread and thirty pitas.
